It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that PETER MYERS one of the League's great servants passed away yesterday - Wednesday November 11th - after a short illness.
As a prolific batsman with Royston and Monk Bretton and latterly as a greatly respected umpire he had been part of the history of the League for nearly forty years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Peter's family and friends at this sad time.
Monday November 23rd : 10.30 at Royston Parish Church followed Barnsley Crematorium and a reception at Barnsley Cricket Club
